Day in nature reserve of Vila Velha, near Ponta Grossa, which is about 1 hour drive from Curitiba, Paraná, Brasil.
The park is very well organized and has a big infraestructure to cater for tourists. It is not as wild as you imagine, just organized walks. It is restricted this was to preserve the fragile rock formations.
The park also has the eroded "holes" the furnas, one of them is the Lagoa Dourada.
Even if the park is very well organized, the only way of getting there is by car, no public transport is available to the park.
